Recently, the 2026 Thailand-China Cooperation Expo opened at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok. Under the theme "Investing in the Future, Growing Together," this year's expo aims to further implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of Thailand and China and seize new opportunities arising from the continued deepening of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. Seizing this valuable opportunity, Prinx Chengshan actively integrated into the Thailand–China bilateral trade framework, exploring cooperation opportunities in industrial alignment and market expansion to support the high-quality, synergistic development of industries in both countries.
During the Expo, Mr. Jiang Wei, Minister-Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of China in Thailand; Mr. Lin Chuqin, Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Liu Quanlei, Chairman of the Thai Chinese Enterprises General Chamber of Commerce; and Mr. Sumet Thangprasert, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), joined Mr. Xu Jiangang, General Manager of Prinx Chengshan (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in discussions on the Company's deep-rooted localisation, intelligent manufacturing, global strategic layout, and sustainable development.
The attending government and business representatives spoke highly of Prinx Chengshan's achievements since establishing its presence in Thailand in 2019. They expressed strong recognition and appreciation for the intelligent production standards and green development philosophy of the Prinx Chengshan Thailand Smart Factory (hereinafter referred to as "the Thailand Plant"), as well as its contributions to promoting Thailand–China cultural exchanges and local economic development, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
As Prinx Chengshan's first overseas production base, the Thailand Plant serves as a critical pillar of the Company's global strategic layout, significantly advancing Thailand–China manufacturing trade, industrial collaboration, and friendly exchanges. On the production side, the factory is equipped with internationally leading calenders and a new five-compound technology, achieving automated and intelligent operations in processes such as semi-finished product handling, logistics, and sorting. In terms of green and low-carbon development, the Plant is deeply committed to energy conservation and environmental protection, steadfastly pursuing sustainable development, and has built the largest single-unit rooftop solar project in Southeast Asia. In the realm of corporate social responsibility, the Plant actively engages in local education support, disaster relief, and other public welfare initiatives, driving local employment and empowering youth development. It also serves as a cultural bridge, fostering people-to-people exchanges and mutual understanding between China and Thailand, and deepening the bonds of friendship between the two nations through practical action.
The Prinx AQUILA PRO and other flagship products from the Thailand Plant distinguished by their core performance in energy efficiency, comfort, and low noise performance were also showcased at the Expo. The tyre has already been successfully supplied to multiple overseas mid-to-high-end models, including the MG5 PRO Thailand Edition, the MG S5 EV Thailand Edition, and the Changan NEVO Q05.Prinx Chengshan has continued to deepen its presence and achieved steady breakthroughs in the Southeast Asian OE market. The Company has established solid and profound strategic partnerships with multiple mainstream OEMs, including MG and NEVO (Changan Qiyuan), to jointly develop premium mobility solutions tailored to local market needs. Its OE business footprint continues to expand, and the collaborative ecosystem is advancing toward higher-quality development.
In addition, the Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with upstream partners, which will help deepen the integration and resource complementarity between Prinx Chengshan and Thailand's local rubber and upstream/downstream industries, driving the synergistic development of the regional tyre industry chain.
Going forward, Prinx Chengshan will continue to upgrade its product portfolio, strengthen localised operations, and deepen synergistic layout across the upstream and downstream of the industry chain. Leveraging the Thailand–China economic and trade cooperation platform, the Company will actively seize valuable new opportunities presented by regional industrial upgrading, contributing to the mutual prosperity of Thailand and China through "Intelligent Manufacturing from China," and writing a new chapter in the growth and win-win journey of Chinese tyre companies on the global stage.
